Addendum B-August 21, 2006

Just a wee update on our girls and how they are thriving! They are teener girls now and they are growing into their tails! Starshine's tail is soooo long she can almost wrap it around herself twice!

Miss Kitty is also growing and thriving. We had a small incident where we had replaced her store bought collar with one made out of rolled elastic. Our intent was goodhearted- to make a collar she could stretch out of if it got caught on something...but instead, it got caught under her arm and wore the skin off in one afternoon. Fortunately it was only a flesh wound, and we used hydrogen peroxide to clean the wound with a q-tip, then applied neosporin triple antibiotic gel, along with this great stuff we got at Albertsons of all places! called Dermablast....it is an antibiotic, pain relieving spray,(you find it in the human first-aid section) and she healed nicely.

She sure is a talker, though! Loves to chat with you and turn on that motorboat of hers.

In hindsight, we definitely made the right decision in keeping these two and cannot imagine our lives without them. As you can see, their eyes healed perfectly, and they are happy and healthy, thriving kitty-girls.

Addendum A- August 1, 2006

Just a quick note to let you know that we have been monitoring Mama Kitty and the babies. As you know, one was adopted, and the other stayed with mama. I think she is soooo glad not to be caged up any more. The Park employees have been feeding Mama and the baby so their future is pretty much secure. She has the wild lifestyle, but a backup with food and water. The best of both worlds. We are pleased. We think God would be, too.
